Review
Easy but simplified 3D CAD program. The 3D functions are rather cool for
a free program. Allows drawing in 2D or 3D and switching back and forth
between views. Appears to be a simplified version for homeowners and learning
purposes, lacking some easy precision and dimensioning functionality.
But may be a good program for exploring a home's form and basic plan.
The upgraded versions have not been reviewed, but if they correct the
simplifications of Design Workshop Lite, they would be worth considering.
Visit website (link below) for upgrades to "Classic Home Design"
and "Professional" versions of the program. Also visit website
for downloads of famous buildings represented in 3D files and more.
Issues covered include:
- 3D CAD, computer aided drafting and design program
